Right now I'm reading Between, Georgia by Joshilyn Jackson.

i'm reading "The Reader" by Bernhard Schlink. he has sort of "poetic" writing style that i love. the story is thought provoking . . .

I just finished Revolutionary Road. (Didn't see the movie.) It was excellent, although not what you want to read if you're looking for a happy ending. Nonetheless, even having a pretty good idea that this was not going to turn out well (which I generally hate) I couldn't put it down.

barbara, i dont think i would like that book then, i dont like it when there isnt a happy ending...kind of leaves me hanging

i'm rereading anne of green gables...i saw a review on a children's lit for mom's site and it brought back such good memories i went and dug it out to read again.

love elizabeth berg! i am reading a book about lincoln and the civil war.

I am reading and thumbing through the pile of craft bookes you borrowed me! Hoping to be able to retunr them to you! :)

i LOVED lost in translation and am quite embarassed to find out the movie was based on a book as i ALWAYS read the book first.... off to go look up that title online!

I loved that movie! I just finished The Moonstone by Wilkie Collins (i loved it!). Now I am reading Such a Pretty Fat by Jen Lancaster and The Temptation of the Night Jasmine by Lauren Willig.

Maeve Binchy's new one, Heart and Soul (it's a timely read for the season.) :o)

I see you have a book there--finish Echoes, and if you haven't read Evening Class, Scarlet Feather, Quentins, and Night of Rain and Stars, you'll need to read those before you Heart and Soul. It's not necessary to all those first, but you'll understand the characters a bit better that you would if you hadn't read 'em.

the only book in the pile i have read yet is the chinese chef (and i so recommend it), i havent read a maeve binchy book yet, but i think one will be my next one tho. is evening class the oldest one?
thanks everyone, for some reason i am not getting updates to my blog

urban craft

Don't ask me where I had time to read but I got on the waiting list early and was able to snag:

It really is a wonderful read and highly recommended.
